Contributors should be passionate about empowering women and able to write clear, practical, encouraging content that fits our editorial pillars (see Themes & Categories below).
We welcome experienced writers and passionate hobbyists. If you love to help women think, grow and do – apply.
What we’re looking for (topics & fit)
Write on topics that match our editorial categories:
- Career Development & Leadership
- Practical Business Advice & Tips (women in business, entrepreneurship, small-business guides).
- Financial Planning & Wealth Building.
- Health & Wellbeing (mental health, fitness, nutrition).
- Motherhood & Personal Development.
- Faith & Work Integration.
- Community & Networking & Features (profiles, interviews, human-interest).
We especially welcome interviews with women in business. When you submit an interview, include contact details and source documents; we will verify facts against what you provide.
Article types & word counts
Choose one of the three standard lengths:
- Short feature – 300-750 words
- Standard feature – 800-1,000 words
- Long feature – 1,050-1,500 words
Payment (RPM + PDF per-word model)
We pay writers two ways:
- Online publication RPM (impression-based): R3.00 per 1,000 impressions (RPM) for online publication. This is paid per published article based on measured article impressions across our platforms.
- Example: if an article receives 16,000 impressions across our platforms, the RPM payout = R3.00 × (16,000 / 1,000) = R48.00.
- PDF issue remuneration (per word): R0.15 per word for the version that appears in the downloadable/print-style PDF magazine issue distributed to our readership.
How this looks in practice (per-article examples):
(Per-word pay = R0.15; RPM assumed payout using 16,000 impressions as example)
- 750 words
- PDF pay: 750 × R0.15 = R112.50
- Example online RPM (16,000 impressions): R48.00
- Example total (PDF + RPM): R160.50
- 1,000 words
- PDF pay: 1,000 × R0.15 = R150.00
- Example online RPM (16,000 impressions): R48.00
- Example total (PDF + RPM): R198.00
- 1,500 words
- PDF pay: 1,500 × R0.15 = R225.00
- Example online RPM (16,000 impressions): R48.00
- Example total (PDF + RPM): R273.00
Notes:
- The RPM payout depends on the actual impressions your article receives, the R48 example above is for an article that reaches 16,000 impressions. If your article receives more or fewer impressions we’ll pay according to the measured impressions × R3/1000.
- PDF per-word payment is fixed and paid for each article that appears in the PDF issue.
